The Series, led by former world number 1 Sir Nick Faldo, aim to promote the career of young international golf talents and have selected the demanding Pink course for the fist tournament of 2023.
The event, taking place in the most exclusive golf club of Barcelona, is the first of the 8 and will end with a final competition to be played in Florida (United States), in January 2024.

Founded in 1996, the Faldo Series has become the world’s largest junior golf competition

Golf stars such as Rory Mcilroy have been forged in it.

Around 75 international players from 13 different countries will compete in this competition that will be played over 36 Medal Play holes on the Club’s Pink course. The general director of the RCG El Prat, Ariana Martín, explains that “it is an honor to be able to host the Faldo Series at the Club because it is a very important competition worldwide and that has representation of the best juniors in Europe”.

The Barcelona golf club founded in 1912 has a perfect course and facilities to host this type of competition. “We will present the course in excellent condition thanks to the entire maintenance team, we hope that all the players enjoy the experience and take away good memories of the Club”, points out Ariana Martín.

The Club boasts 45 holes designed by former golf number 1 Greg Norman, a double ended driving range including two putting greens, a large short game area and three short holes with practice bunkers, as well as a modern and elegant Club House.

Many players of the DP world tour, such as Pablo Larrazabal, choose RCG El Prat to train throughout the season. Throughout its more than 110 years of history, the RCG El Prat has hosted 10 editions of the Spanish Open (1959, 1963, 1971, 1978, 1981, 1998, 1999, 2011 and 2015) and more than 250 national and international championships.
